Santa Claus is Coming to Town!
Mia met Santa for the first time on Sunday, at the Yankee Candle Shop, she did great! She was a little star struck, didn't make a peep, but managed a few smiles. I think Mom & Dad were more nervous than she was....It was a pretty magical place, right out of Charley & the Chocolate Factory, tons of candy and toys and huge Christmas trees. It even snowed "real" snow, indoors. The only thing it didn't have were real reindeer.

We all had a great time at Grandmomster's for Thanksgiving, thanks for all delicious food as usual and good times. Thankfully, I got a couple of runs in to offset all the yummy calories. Mia had so much fun exploring all the fun things around the house, the clocks, the dolls, the hats and especially the cats. She loves her cats....she was so tired from all the fun, she slept all the way home! Thanks Grandmomster!

Opa's Birthday
Oma & Opa came up to celebrate Opa's birthday last weekend. As usual it was lot's of fun with some yummy fish and wine. Mia love's all the attention from her "Pa Pa" and "Ohh" as she calls them and we love getting a little break from the "Piggle-Pop". As Oma says, "She knows what she wants!". She's getting a little bossy, I wonder where she gets that from?
The mad Blogger...
Opa helped, or I should say, I helped him put up the cabinets in the garage! Thanks Opa!

Halloween
Mia's first "trick or treating" Halloween was lot's of fun. Everyone said our neighborhood went crazy for Halloween and they were right. Seemed everyone was out and about, either walking around with the kids or out in their driveways giving the candy away. Many folks had fires going and bowls of candy and hot cider. Dad's were out pulling little red wagons with coolers of beer and there were SWARMS of kids. Apparently all of Brickshire comes to our section, the Sanctuary because that's where all the kids are, (there's something like 60 under the age of ten). Mia didn't know what was going on, but she loved it. She wanted to hold my hand at first, but then didn't want any help. She carried her little pumpkin candy pail all by herself and even grabbed some candy a few times. She wouldn't say "trick or treat" though, at least not in front of anyone but me. We let her have a "few" pieces of candy when we got home. It brought back memories of when Murphy got into Cherith's bag one visit and ate all her dark chocolate...He spazed out so bad he could barely walk the next day, and his poor tail was bent...
